A good tailor never measures you standing in the doorway. He sits you down first, offers something to drink, and only then picks up the tape.

Most flower shops skip that part. You stand at a counter, a card gets slid across, someone is already looking past you at the next person in line, and you are supposed to make a decision that matters while you feel like you’re holding up everyone behind you.

So we built the studio differently. A real chair, not a stool by the register, for the order that takes ten minutes to word exactly right. Air conditioning that holds up in a Miami August, for the one that takes twenty. Coffee, water, or tea, because a decision like this is not one you make thirsty and standing. Something playing that is not a radio left on. A place to charge your phone, since whoever you’re calling about this can’t wait either. And if you walked in straight from the pediatrician with a bottle that needs warming, there is a microwave in the back before you even have to ask.

Bring the vessel, we bring the flowers

If there is a vase, a bowl, or a container that already means something to you, a grandmother’s, a wedding gift, one that simply fits the room it’s going in, bring it in and our designers will build inside it. It carries a design fee like any custom piece, so call ahead if it’s a large one and we’ll tell you what to expect.

If a piece has to come from somewhere else

Sometimes the gift needs one more thing we don’t make ourselves. Tell us what it is and where to find it, and we’ll order it, have it shipped to the studio, and build it into your delivery, one payment to us instead of you juggling a separate purchase. It’s why senders calling from another state, or from outside the country, often hand us the whole thing instead of trying to buy something locally and ship it to Miami on their own. If you’d rather send the item yourself, you can ship it straight to the studio too.

Two photos, not zero

Before anything leaves the building, we photograph the finished piece in the studio and send it to you, by text, WhatsApp, or however you reached us, so you approve it before it travels. When it arrives, our own driver confirms it at the door, not a courier app’s five-minute knock and go. You see it twice: once before it leaves us, once when it’s actually there.

Close to almost any hour

The boutique keeps its own hours, but a text or a WhatsApp to (305) 562-4900 reaches someone close to around the clock, for the order that occurs to you at 11 PM and the one that has to go out in the morning.

None of this is the reason someone sends flowers. It’s the reason they come back and hand us the next one without asking around first.
