Artistic Floral Design for Luxury Events
Event flowers fail in one of two ways. Either the arrangements are beautiful and have nothing to do with the room, or they match the room and have nothing to look at. Both come from the same place: nobody translated the client’s idea into a floral decision before the flowers were ordered.
My Divine Decors is a floral boutique in Miami. We design and produce the florals for weddings, private celebrations and corporate gatherings. We do not plan or coordinate events, and that boundary is deliberate. It is stated here because a planner needs to know what they are hiring before the first call, not after.
For weddings specifically, see our wedding flowers page, or the DIY wedding flowers option. For office and reception arrangements on a recurring basis, see flowers for businesses. This page covers everything in between: anniversaries, milestone birthdays, quinceañeras, formal dinners and one-off brand activations.
Artistic and Elegant Event Styling
How a vision becomes a floral plan. The starting point is not a flower. It is the room, the hour and the palette already in play: the linens, the light at the time the guests arrive, the height of the ceiling, whether people will be seated across a table from each other. Centerpieces that photograph well and block eye contact are a design failure regardless of the stems.
From there the decisions are concrete:
- Focal versus supporting. One flower carries the arrangement. Everything else exists to make that one read. Choosing the focal first is what keeps a large event from looking like a florist emptied a cooler into it.
- Height discipline. Table pieces sit below the sightline or well above it. The band between those two is where centerpieces go to be resented.
- Palette range, not palette match. A single flat color across a room reads as decoration. A tight range with variation in tone and texture reads as design.
- Repetition with variation. The same gesture at every table, built slightly differently each time, is what makes a room feel composed rather than manufactured.
Fresh and preserved together. Fresh arrangements carry the occasion and are built for the day. Preserved roses are real roses treated with a non-toxic preservation process, sourced from Ecuador and Colombia, and they hold for up to three years without water. On an event they solve two specific problems: installations that need to be built before the day and hold, and pieces the client wants to keep afterward. A preserved element in a hat box works as a gift for a guest of honor in a way a fresh arrangement at the end of a long night does not.

Luxury Floral Services for Formal Gatherings
What we take on, stated plainly. Floral design and production for weddings, small private events, formal gatherings and corporate occasions. That covers the design concept, the arrangements, the installations and the delivery.
What we do not take on. Event planning and coordination. We do not run the timeline, hire the vendors, or manage the day. If you are working with a planner, we work to their plan. If you are not, you will want one for anything with a schedule.
Saying it this way is useful for the same reason a menu lists what the kitchen makes. A florist who claims full production and then subcontracts it costs you a layer of margin and a layer of accountability.
Logistics behind the design. Delivery and installation run across Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties, plus Key Largo and Islamorada, on our own route. For event pieces the timing is agreed in advance rather than dropped into a standard delivery slot. The retail same-day cutoffs, 4:00 PM Monday through Friday and 1:00 PM Saturday, apply to catalog orders, not to a booked event.
For clients placing gifts around an event, everything ships nationwide. Wrapped hand bouquets go by FedEx Priority Overnight for next business day arrival, out Tuesday through Friday with a 12:00 PM cutoff. Preserved pieces, gift boxes and chocolates go by FedEx or UPS and usually arrive within 3 to 5 business days.
Lead time. Book early. Availability of specific stems is seasonal, and installations need build time on site.
