Anonymous Flower Delivery in Miami and Nationwide
There is a kind of message that only works if your name is not on it. An apology that would sound like an excuse signed. A thank you to someone who would feel awkward owing you one. A gesture toward a person who is not yours to claim yet. The flowers are easy. Keeping your name out of it is the part most florists have never thought about.
How an anonymous delivery works here
You tell us it goes anonymous and that is the end of it. No card, or a card with only the message and no signature, whichever you prefer. Your name is not on the box, not on the invoice that travels, and not in anything the driver says at the door. If the recipient asks the driver who sent it, the honest answer he gives is that he does not know, because he does not.
When they ask us who sent it, and they do ask
This is the part nobody writes down, so here it is. If the person who received the flowers calls us wanting to know who they are from, we do not tell them. Not the first time and not if they insist. What we do instead is call you, tell you they asked, and let you decide. Some people say yes right then. Some say not yet. Some never answer, and that is an answer too.
You are the only one who can lift it. We are not going to decide that for you on a Tuesday afternoon because someone sounded convincing on the phone.
You still approve it before it leaves
Anonymous does not mean blind. When the arrangement is finished we photograph it and send you the picture, and nothing goes out until you say yes. At the door the driver photographs the delivery and you get that one too. You see everything, the recipient sees flowers with no name, and those two facts do not conflict.
Miami the same day, or anywhere in the country
Inside Miami-Dade we deliver the same day when the order is in before 4 PM on weekdays or 1 PM on Saturday, with our own drivers, in our own vehicles. Outside Florida we ship wrapped bouquets by FedEx Priority Overnight for next business day, and preserved roses, which last years rather than days, anywhere in the country. Shipping is $40 flat either way.
Why people send flowers without a name
- An apology that is not ready to be a conversation. Sometimes the gesture has to arrive before the phone call does.
- A thank you that would embarrass the other person. Help that was given quietly is often best answered quietly.
- Grief. A colleague loses someone and you are not close enough to show up, but you are not far enough to do nothing.
- A gesture that is still early. Interest you are not ready to sign your name to yet.
- A gift from a company that does not want to make it about the company.
What we will not do
Anonymity is for protecting the sender, not for reaching someone who does not want to be reached. If a recipient tells us they do not want deliveries from us again, we stop, and we will not take a repeat order to that address. We will also not deliver a message meant to frighten or humiliate anyone. This is the same rule that makes the rest of it trustworthy, and it is not negotiable.
Send it
Tell us the date, the address and the message, and say the word anonymous. You can also call us at (305) 562-4900. If you want the message in a language other than English, send it written exactly the way you want it and we print it that way, accents and all, so nothing arrives misspelled.
