A whole day in the shop, and it is only about you

There is no room of twelve here. It is you, Jessica Nunez, and the flower boutique she has run in Doral since 2019, open and working around you. The pieces on the table are yours. The questions are yours. The prices you want to charge, the clients you already have, the Instagram you post to, the box supplier you cannot find: all of it comes into the room, because in a private class the day is built around your business, not around a program.

Most floral design courses sell hours of technique. This one sells a shortcut: one day next to the person who already made the mistakes you are about to make.

How the private day is different from the group class

Private class Group class, October 10
Who is in the room You and Jessica Twelve students and Jessica
When The date you choose, coordinated with your travel Saturday, October 10, 2026
What you build The four signature pieces, adjusted to what you actually sell The four signature pieces
The business half Your prices, your suppliers, your brand, your clients How My Divine Decors does it
Language English or Spanish, your choice Both at the same time
Price $3,000, everything included $1,500 per seat

What you build with your own hands

  • A hand-tied bouquet, with the wrapping techniques we use for delivery.
  • A front-facing hat box arrangement, every rose looking at the person who opens it.
  • A round box with hydrangeas and premium blooms.
  • A preserved rose box, including how we handle and scent them.

Those four are the base. Because you are alone with her, the day moves at your pace: if the bouquet is already yours, you spend that hour on the piece that is not. If you sell centerpieces for events, that is where the round-box technique goes. Nobody is waiting on you and you are not waiting on anyone.

The half of the day that pays for itself

This is the part that does not fit in a class of twelve. With one student, Jessica opens her own numbers and her own methods:

  • How to price your pieces, using your real costs, so each order pays you and not just the wholesaler.
  • Where she buys. Her flower suppliers and her signature box vendors, by name, with the list to take home.
  • How to condition fresh flowers so what you deliver lasts a week. It is the reason our clients come back, and it is teachable.
  • How to photograph and present a piece so it sells from the phone before anyone touches it.
  • Your brand, looked at together: what your Instagram says about your prices before a client asks.
  • Handling and delivery, so the piece arrives the way it left.
  • The mistakes, the processes, and what she would do differently if she were starting today, applied to where you are right now.

Who books the private day

Three kinds of people, in practice. The woman who already sells arrangements from home or on Instagram and wants to raise her prices with a product that justifies it. The florist or event designer who cannot close her business for a Saturday and needs a weekday that fits her calendar. And the student who flies in from another state and wants the trip to be worth it, one day, all hers, coordinated with her flight.

It is not a recreational workshop, and it is not the cheapest way to learn technique. If what you want is the technique alone, at a lower price, with other people in the room, the group class on October 10 is the right choice and we will tell you so.

Do you need a certificate to work as a floral designer?

In Florida you do not need a license to design and sell flowers. What you need is a product that looks like a professional’s and a price that pays you. You leave with a certificate of completion from My Divine Decors, and it is a real thing to show; but the pieces you carry out of the shop, photographed that same afternoon, will sell you better than any paper. If you are weighing floral design school against a day like this one, the honest difference is this: school gives you weeks of technique with an instructor; here you get the method of a working shop, the business behind it, and the person who built it, in one day, on your date.

Curious about the rules of thumb designers use before you come? Read the 3-5-8 rule for florists; on your day you will see why it is a starting point and not a formula.

What you take home

  • The four pieces you made, in the signature box you choose.
  • A professional toolkit to keep: floral scissors, tape, notebook and pen, and the apron you worked in.
  • The supplier and vendor list Jessica actually uses.
  • A certificate of completion.
  • Lunch and snacks during the day. Flowers, boxes and foam are all included.

About the price

The private day is $3,000, all included. That is the price of Jessica’s shop and Jessica’s full attention for six hours, on a day she is not teaching anyone else. Students have paid it and flown in for it. If the group class fits you better, it is half the price per seat and you will learn the same four techniques; what you will not get is the day built around your business.

How to reserve your date

Reserve online with the button at the top of this page. Once the order comes in, we contact you to set the date: weekdays are usually easiest, and if you are traveling we coordinate around your flight. Prefer to talk first? Write PRIVATE on WhatsApp and Jessica answers you herself.

Quick answers

Do I need experience?

No. Beginners with the intention of selling what they make do very well one-on-one, because the day adapts to where you are. Experienced florists come for the aesthetic, the processes and the business side.

Is the private class in English or Spanish?

Whichever you prefer. With one student, Jessica teaches the entire day in your language.

How long is it and what are the hours?

One day, from 9 AM to 3 PM, at the My Divine Decors boutique in Doral, Florida. You receive the address and parking details when we confirm your date.

Can I choose a weekday?

Yes. That is one of the main reasons people book privately. We set the date together after your reservation.

I am coming from another state. Does that work?

Yes, students have flown in for it. We coordinate the date with your travel so the trip is one day, all yours.

Can I bring my own business questions?

Please do. Your price list, your Instagram, the client that gives you trouble, the supplier you cannot find. The business half of the day is built on them.

What do I need to bring?

Nothing. Flowers, boxes, tools, apron and lunch are included. Come in comfortable shoes and bring the questions.

How do I pay?

The private class is $3,000, paid online when you reserve. After that we contact you to set the date. If you would rather pay another way, write us on WhatsApp.

Is there a group option?

Yes. The group class on October 10, 2026 teaches the same four techniques with twelve students, at $1,500 per seat.
