Floral Design Classes in Miami, Taught Inside a Working Flower Shop
Where can you take a flower arranging class in Miami? Here, in our Doral boutique, with Jessica Nunez, who has run this shop since 2019. There are two ways in. A one day group intensive on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 9 AM to 6 PM, limited to twelve people, and a private one on one class on a date you choose. Both are hands on. You build every piece yourself and she corrects yours, not a sample at the front of the room.
The Floral Design Intensive on October 10 is $1,500 and it is the only group date of 2026. You build four pieces, a hand tied bouquet, a front facing hat box, a round box with hydrangeas and a preserved rose box, and you take all four home. Half the day is technique. The other half is the business, how to price a piece, where to buy, how to photograph it so it sells, and the supplier list by name. The Divine Experience private class is $3,000 and the whole day is built around your own business and the pieces you want to master.
How much does a floral design class in Miami cost?
The group intensive is $1,500 total. You hold your seat with $299 and the remaining $1,201 is charged to the same card on October 3, a week before class. The private one on one class is $3,000. Both prices include flowers, containers, the toolkit you keep, the supplier list, a certificate and lunch.
Do I need experience to take a floral design class?
No. You need the intention of selling what you make, or of making it look like something that could be sold. Beginners with that intention do very well here. It is also built for the florist with years behind her who comes for the technique, the processes and the business side rather than for an introduction.
What will I actually make in one day?
Four finished pieces, and you keep all of them. A hand tied bouquet with the wrapping we use for delivery, a front facing hat box where every rose looks at the person opening it, a round box with hydrangeas and premium blooms, and a preserved rose box, including how we handle and scent them.
Is the class taught in English or Spanish?
Both, in the same room, at the same time. Jessica teaches in whichever language the person in front of her speaks. Nobody waits for a translation and nobody is put in a separate group.
Group class or private class, which one is for me?
The group intensive if you want the room, the pace and twelve people learning the same techniques on one fixed date. The private class if you need your own date, your own product line, or you are flying in from another state and cannot make October 10. The private class costs twice as much because the entire day is yours.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes, a certificate of participation, in both formats. Florida does not require a certificate to work as a floral designer, so treat it as a record of the day rather than a license. What travels further is the portfolio of the four pieces you photograph and the supplier list you leave with.
When is the next group class after October 10?
There is no second group date in 2026. October 10 is the only one, and there had not been a group class at this level since 2023. If the date does not work, the private class runs on a date you choose, and you can write us to be told first when a new group date opens.
