Years of late nights, exams and “almost there.” Then it all comes down to a few seconds: they call the name, the walk across the stage, the diploma. What stays is the photo afterward: the gown, the cap in hand, and something beautiful in their arms. This guide is about making that something the one you sent.

What flowers do you give for a graduation?

Roses, most of the time: a hand-tied ramo buchón the graduate can hold in the photo, a hat box for the party table, or preserved roses that last more than a year as a keepsake. For him, deep colors and black wrap work best; for her, blush, white and lavender. A luxury graduation bouquet in black and gold says it without a card. And if you want everyone to know who it is for, a gold “Congrats Grad” sign over the roses or a balloon with their name.

What to give, depending on who is graduating

• For her: blush, white or lavender roses, as a bouquet for the photo or in a box with the gold “Congrats Grad” sign.
• For him: a ramo buchón of red roses in black wrap with gold leaves, or a hat box in his school colors.
• In school colors: orange and green for UM, blue and gold for FIU, or whatever theirs are. Write them in the order notes, or send us a photo of the gown, and we match the roses and the ribbon.
• To keep: preserved roses in a box, still the same when the diploma is already framed.

When should you order graduation flowers?

In 2025 and 2026, most of our graduation orders came in between mid-April and early June, and May was the busiest month. If the ceremony falls in those weeks, order a few days ahead, especially if you want specific colors.

For same-day delivery, order Monday to Friday by 5:00 PM or Saturday by 1:00 PM. If the celebration is on a Sunday, we deliver from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM when you order by 1:00 PM on Saturday, for $30 on top of your zone rate.

To the ceremony or to the house?

Almost always the house or the party. At the ceremony the graduate is in line, in a gown, with no free hands, and an arrangement can end up with no one there to receive it. What works best is having the family keep it ready for the photo after the ceremony, or having it reach the house before the celebration.

If you would rather bring it yourself, pick it up at our studio at 7276 NW 58th St in Doral: order by 4:00 PM Monday to Friday. Before it leaves, we send you a photo of the finished piece.

How much does a graduation bouquet cost in Miami? At our studio, a ramo buchón of roses starts at $80, the graduation preserved rose box is $100, the Boho box with a “Congrats Grad” sign is $195 and the 50 fresh roses hat box is $300. Delivery is added by zone, or you can pick it up at our Doral studio.

Do you deliver graduation flowers the same day? Yes, across Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach, when you order Monday to Friday by 5:00 PM or Saturday by 1:00 PM. On Sundays we deliver from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM when you order by 1:00 PM on Saturday.

Can you add the graduate’s name? Yes. Their name goes on the card, and with a personalized balloon we write it in gold letters. For school colors, write them in the order notes or send us a photo of the gown.
